In a recent Extra Ordinary General House Meeting held on Tuesday, 24th December 2024 at Tax House, Sialkot The STBA approved a number of 27 Amendments with a 2/3 majority in the By-Laws of the STBA. The Amendments highlights include *Members' standing for recommendations, *Requirement of being a "Filer" for the applicant *Cessation of Members who have left practice. *Election Tribunal Constitution by General House *Limiting Participation of Ex. President & Ex. G. Sec in Elections *Vote of No Confidence *Nomination of Members as candidate for PTBA & DBA *Enhacement of Executive Committee *Enhancement in Monthly Subscription and Admission Fee The amendments were presented by the By Laws Committee Chaired by Mr. Abdul Qayyum Advocate and Co-chairman Mr. Tafheen Ejaz Khan who very minutely presented and got vote from the members.
